Shekhar Kapur has directed ‘The Golden Age’, the sequel to his epic ‘Elizabeth’ for Universal Studios with all visual effects work including a digital Spanish armada and an innovative DI grade each demonstrating the Director’s vision of ‘operatic reality’ carried out by MPC.

We had this amazing visual effects supervisor called Tom Wood, who worked out of MPC in London. The VFX are really wonderful in it, I think they belong to much higher budgeted film. I’m very proud of the work they did. Danny Boyle, Director.

Sixty Six

Paul Weiland has directed the semi-autobiographical ‘Sixty Six.’ The movie is produced by Working Title with MPC’s first 11 helping to re-create events around England’s victorious world cup. The team carried out a full digital intermediate grade, film restoration on more than 75 shots and used VFX techniques to rebuild the old Wembley Stadium.
