Joe Johnston has directed a remake of the 1941 classic horror film ‘The Wolfman' for Universal Studios, starring Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt and Benicio del Toro in the title role. MPC faced many creative challenges as the film's lead visual effects company, providing concept art and scene design which supported Johnston's vision for the film's tension-filled atmosphere.

Christopher Columbus has directed ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians; The Lightning Thief’ for Twentieth Century Fox. MPC Vancouver provided a range of visual effects and post production work for 160 shots across 9 sequences for the movie. Their main areas of work involved creating Greek Gods and simulating a firey inferno.

MPC’s Vancouver Studio has completed 106 shots for Jonathan Mostow’s ‘Surrogates,’ Disney’s new sci-fi film starring Bruce Willis. The MPC team lead by Doug Oddy worked with overall VFX Supervisor Mark Stetson to develop a host of visual effects enhancing the futuristic action.

Oliver Parker has directed ‘Dorian Gray,’ a film adaptation of Oscan Wilde’s classic Victorian novel about narcissism and eternal youth. Starring Ben Barnes and Colin Firth, the film was produced by Barnaby Thompson and Ealing Studios. MPC provided the post, creating the gothic city and bringing Dorian Gray’s picture to life.
