MPC LA, one year on

When MPC’s Mark Gethin moved half way round the world following his own creative lead as a Colorist; we all knew the innate inspiration unleashed when he joined MPC London would only flourish in the Santa Monica sun.  One year on, this has naturally evidenced itself through the range of jobs he has graded and of course the company he is keeping…

When Mark left London with his 2008 BTAA Colorist of the Year trophy in his back pocket, the doors opened at MPC LA.  Sitting on 4th Street, with views of the ocean, the space recently won Architect Patrick Tighe a 2009 Los Angeles Architectural award.  Its also given space to think and reflect to the creative minds of many of today’s coolest Directors including Patrick Daughters, Stacy Wall, Rupert Sanders, and Fredrik Bond.

Thankfully, sociable Mark’s still in touch with the guys in London via a remote grading link; a huge network that means that he can sit in Santa Monica and work on jobs whilst his clients watch sipping afternoon tea in London.  If MPC didn’t have this; there would be outcry on the streets of Soho…
