Vaughan Arnell has directed the promo for ‘Bodies’ by Robbie Williams; the next release from his ‘Reality Killed the Video Star’ album.  Inspired by the 1968 original of ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’, Vaughan captured the action in split screens.

MPC provided the post, conforming the promo and creating the paneling effect.

The job was graded by Paul Harrison who collaborated with Vaughan enhancing the look of the film and the atmosphere of the Mojave desert location.  Paul explains; ‘Vaughan wanted to give the impression of a hot, desolate, dusty place, with big skies; much like a cinema epic.  To achieve this we manipulated the footage to create contrast between the blue of the sky and the yellow of the ground, all the time maintaining the light focus on Robbie himself.  We also strengthened the pinkish hue that warms the graveyard sequence which was shot at dusk.'
