MPC POSTS AUDI, AVANT A4

Adam Berg has directed the stunning new campaign for the Audi A4 Avant, the 40, 30 and 20 second spots were produced by Stefan Falk at Camp David.  MPC’s Mark Gethin created a natural looking telecine grade with the VFX team carrying out clean up work to the shot footage.

The beautifully shot ad shows two friends taking a road trip around Sweden in their Audi A4.  Following them around we see the countryside on their journey and the people they meet, whilst sharing in the adventure of driving the car.

Mark Gethin was briefed by DoP Kasper Tuxen to create a beautiful, natural and realistic atmosphere.  To achieve this he concentrated on making the lighting in each location consistent and added an overall natural look to the sequence.

VFX Supervisor Franck Lambertz cleaned up the shots, finessing the edit and changing signs and branding seen in the shot backgrounds.  Some shots were reversed for continuity in the edit.  

The ad is on air in Sweden from May 9th 2008.
